“Uncommon Faith”

Faith is a key element of following God.
The Bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God.
And yet, a life lived in faith doesn’t produce the same results among all people.
Many people in the Bible followed God faithfully but had very different outcomes in their lives.
Perhaps the way in which God responds to a faithful follower is as unique as the individual and the uniqueness of the relationship with God. “

Join us this Saturday morning at 11:00 am, in person & on-line, as Pastor Grant continues our Route 66 series with a message from the book of Hebrews entitled “Uncommon Faith”.
Route 66

Have you ever thought of reading the Bible through in one year? The idea is simple, yet profound. It’s also life-changing!

We want to invite you and your family as we begin this new year for a journey through Route 66 in 2021. We will be preaching and teaching through the entire Bible this year and we want to invite you to experience the insights, joy, and satisfaction gained from reading the entire Bible.

You can do it in as little as 15 minutes a day with our One Year Bible Plan. And you’ll love the fact that every Saturday morning we will be preaching on what you’ve read, and each Wednesday evening we’ll be answering all your questions about all the difficult Bible verses you’ve been encountering during your reading.
So if reading through the Bible is something you’ve always wanted to do then join us for our Route 66: Reading Through the Bible in One Year.
Join us each Saturday, as we journey together!

Saturday Worship Update

We have been so happy to see more and more people attend our in-person worship services at CIV. It is an amazing experience to worship together again.

As you may know another announcement was made on Tuesday by Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry, in which a mandatory mask mandate, for ages 12 and up, was reintroduced and is in effect across the entire province.

So in keeping with this announcement, and out of an abundance of caution for everyone who worships at Church in the Valley, masks are once again required to be used indoors during our Study Classes and Worship Service starting this Saturday, August 28th.

We will continue to have our Adult Study Classes, as well as a Kids Zone Classes, which will meet at 9:30 am. At 11:00 am we will provide a Kids Zone Worship and our Adult Worship Service.
AOK Volunteers Needed

Your time, cheer, and presence are precious gifts – and we invite you to partner with AOK to share these gifts with our community! We are looking for a few good men and women to volunteer as organizers, packers, and deliverers. Experience is not required! We will have a volunteers’ orientation on Thursday, December 17 to share all details.
If you have any questions in the meantime, please email Pastor Anderline at Anderline@actsofkindness.ca
