FVAA Annual Fall Festival
FVAA’s annual Fall Festival is on Sunday, October 28, from Noon to 3 PM. The school gymnasium will be buzzing with lots of country harvest food and fun. All are invited; dress up in your favourite fall clothing as we will be celebrating the “colours of the season.” Bring your family and friends too! Enjoy the delights of Filipino food, candy apples, waffles, shave ice and more. Then experience the fun of many different activities, including a bouncy castle, slack line, a cake-walk and so much more. See you there!

The FVAA Annual Constituency Meeting will be at 3:30 PM in the school cafeteria directly after the Fall Festival. Church members of all constituent churches are voting members and are strongly encouraged to attend. The school faculty and board need your wisdom and support as we seek to provide our precious young people with the highest quality education possible. Reports will come from our school principal, our new school chaplain, the school board, as well as the presentation of the school budget for this academic year.

Pastor Appreciation Month
We are blessed with an outstanding Pastoral leadership team! They work all hours of the day. They journey with us during the happy moments of life and the totally horrible ones. They help us share Christ to the community around us by supporting us in our outreach and by creating awesome outreach ministries. They minister to us each Saturday in Worship, Praise, Video Ministry and Kids Zone.
Thank you Pastors Dave, Dauncey, Walter, Grant and Josh for all that you do!
So take a moment to thank our dynamic pastors and their families. There are 5 baskets near the Welcome Desk each labelled with a pastor’s name. Write a note of thanks to all or one of the pastoral families and place it in the basket.
Want to do something a little extra? Grab a gift card and add it to your note.
If you wish to make a monetary gift towards our pastors’ cabin renovations at Camp Hope, please contact Pastor Tom Glatts at

Dinner with the Doctor

Do you want to live a better, longer, healthier life? Most people never take the time to stop and think about their health until there is a health crisis or serious diagnosis. Come and learn about the importance of being proactive with your health at Dinner with a Doctor, featuring Dr. Tim Riesenberger!
In this seminar, Dr. Riesenberger will share about pockets around the world where people live measurably longer. In these “Blue Zones”, they found that people reach age 100 at rates 10 times greater than in the United States. One of those “Blue Zones” identified during the study was Loma Linda, California. The study helped bring to light the benefits of a comprehensive and holistic approach to healthful living. This holistic approach is what we want to share with others.
Call 604-514-8335 to register today as space is limited!
Don’t miss out on this potentially life-changing event! We encourage that you bring your community friends with you to this event.
